Dear Supporter,
We are excited to invite you to our first Dinner Show Charity Fundraiser on 28th February 2026 at the Apex Hotel, Bath. Expect an evening of top-quality amateur boxing as up to 20 of the best boxers from across the South West compete for the Elite Western Counties Challenge Belts.

The Challenge Belts offer a fantastic opportunity for competitors performing at an international standard, helping them remain active, continue to box regularly and gain meaningful ring experience. At this level, boxers face limited opportunities to compete, and struggle to be matched on club shows. Unless selected for one of the few available spots in the England squad, many would only compete up to twice per season.
By bridging the gap between novice boxing and full England-level competition, the Challenge Belts keep elite athletes engaged in the sport and provide high quality contests needed to prevent talented boxers from drifting away due to inactivity. Winners of the Elite Western Counties Challenge Belts also earn the right to contest National Elite Belts, further raising their profile.

With these stakes in play, you can expect fierce, well-matched bouts from skilled and seasoned competitors across a full card, each determined to claim the title.
This competition also plays a crucial role in sustaining the sport within the region. Entry fees from Challenge Belt bouts go directly to the Western Counties, which currently faces a shortage of funding from other sources. By attending, you are directly supporting the development of local boxing at all levels.
